OOoooops!
OK, so when Brian and I initially agreed to start a blog, we
thought we would update it weekly…….we HAVE been meaning to update it since
Tuesday with the hope of some exciting news………and ya know? We still don’t have our tickets (which was
going to be our news) and it’s been over a week since we’ve written! OOooops!
I guess BOTH of our plans got foiled!!!
Ah well…….STILL, we have much to be grateful for. Here are just a few examples:
Our hope is that in the couple of days we should have our plane tickets booked and be reporting a very near leave date. We continue to trust that God will orchestrate all things!
·
FBC ice cream social—Sunday evening we were able
to connect with family and friends and enjoy some chilly treats on a sweltering
Sunday. We thank each one of you who
attended and made it a priority to come!
We were encouraged!!!
·
Plane tickets—we were initially planning on
one-way tickets to Chile due to the fact that you can only book a round trip
ticket 10 months out. We were very near
purchasing the tickets when we found out that if we did, we would possibly be
denied our visas to get in the country.
Ack! THAT would not have been
good! God was looking out for us!
·
Church meeting—we were able to meet with another
church this week that is willing to come behind us and pray for us. WHAT a blessing!!! We were encouraged by that as well! Not to mention, we had connections with all
the people we talked to! SO neat how God
orchestrates all of that!
·
Answered prayer—God has answered numerous
prayers this week ranging from friends to finances to family to…….well, you get
the idea. There’s not an area of our
lives where He isn’t involved, and we are grateful!
·
Brian’s health—Brian continues to improve and is
going to physical therapy for the next two weeks. Thank you to the many of you who have prayed
for him and kept him uplifted.
Our hope is that in the couple of days we should have our plane tickets booked and be reporting a very near leave date. We continue to trust that God will orchestrate all things!
